Since June 24, 2010, the much awaited Windows Live Essentials Suite is available for download. It’s considered to be another feather in Microsoft’s cap this year. Microsoft is already celebrating the success of its latest MS Office 2010 public release. The latest version of Windows Live Essentials Suite includes:

- Windows Live Mail
- Windows Live Movie Maker
- Windows Messenger (also termed as Hotmail Messenger)
- Windows Live Writer
- Windows Live Family Safety
- Windows Live Sync
- Windows Messenger Companion
- Windows Live Outlook Connector Pack
- Live Bing Bar
Windows Live Essentials provides you two separate downloads:
- The main installer will install all the programs available under Windows Live Essentials Suite in one go. You can download this main installer over here .
- The other installer will provide you an option of ‘custom install’ which means you can choose which all programs you want to install. You can download this installer over here .
If you are someone who would not like to use all the above mentioned programs available under Windows Live Essentials Suite, you can opt for installer # 2.
Note: This new version of Windows Live Essentials Suite is only compatible with Windows Vista or Windows 7. If you have a Windows XP installed on your system, you can install the earlier version of Windows Live Essentials Suite available for download over here .
