Business Ideas for EntrepreneursOne of the prime characteristics of successful start ups is that most often they address the problems spaces – one that have not been addressed or are addressed by other organisations partially. A look at Youtube, Slideshare, Quora, Groupon, Square, etc. shall testify this fact. In the year 2008,  Paul Graham of Y Combinator listed out several key problem areas  around which new start ups can come in to being. He mentioned that Y Combinator is eager to mentor and fund start ups that address any of these problem areas. Come 2011 and it seems that entrepreneurs across the world have taken Graham’s words seriously. For each of the problem spaces that Graham mentioned, there now exists a start up – some have addressed the problem areas in part and some have approached these problems in altogether a different aspect.

So, if you are looking for ideas to venture out on your own , here’s a list of potential ideas for entrepreneurs.

Gift Rocket (a Y Combinator-backed start up)  has come with this wonderful and informative infographic that maps the 30 business ideas that Paul Graham wrote about and the start ups built around them – Y Combinator-backed and others.
